Kathy was a Runyanesque character, teeming with character, stories and exuberant life! With no trouble at all despite not having heard it for years, I can hear her voice and her expressions, as well as the good-natured reassurance she offered terrified interviewees. I can also vividly see her colorful bohemian outfits and cowboy boots.She had an enormous impact on the DA's Offfice over the last 30 years. Even now, years after she left, there are easily more than 100 of us left still there whom she was involved in hiring. She loved the office second only to her love for her son, her husband and her Dad, whom she idolized. I feel blessed to have known and worked with her. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
