It is with sadness I share that this morning we said farewell to my father in law Vincent R. Novello Sr.

At 92, he lived a full life. Full of love and joy with my mother in law, Jean. Full of closeness and happiness with his children and many grandchildren. Full of the many good times with his nine siblings, in laws and their families. Full of fun with his extended family and his many many close friends. He was certainly a man of plenty.

He was the patriarch of our family. He lived a life of honor and respect. He was virtuous and wise. Always guiding and leading. Like his twin brother and older siblings, he was a first generation American. He raised his family with the top priority of being a close family.

Everything was about family. Even during WWII, he, like his brothers enlisted and he served as secretary to General MacArthur. He served his time but it was always still about family. Holiday celebrations, birthday parties, summer beach time, always with family together. He showed us by example how to live an exemplary life.

Personally, I am more than honored to say that I have been a member of his loving family for the past 40 years. Thank you Dad for making a positive difference in my life, I love you!!

Vincent, Kim and Arthur,
I have such good memories of your dad from Texas Avenue in Atlantic City... going to the boardwalk, to Monte, our gigantic family heading to the beach with beach chairs. I remember sitting in the evenings in the alley on the west side of the house and listening to his stories.... all good memories. My sincere condolences. Your cousin, Ralph
