PAOLO “PAUL”; November 9, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Rosaria “Rina” (nee Grasso). Devoted father of Sebastian “Benny” (Robin) Guzzardi and Angelo (Anita) Guzzardi. Nonno of Nichole (Bill) Keane and Gina Guzzardi. BisNonno to Dylan Keane. Brother of The Late Salvatore Guzzardi and Santino Guzzardi . Brother in law of Rose Guzzardi and The late Joann Grasso. Dear Uncle of Anna Maria (Joseph) Rollo. Great Uncle of Marco and Christian Rollo. Paul was an amazing, strong, and proud father, a loving Nonno and a true friend. His family was his true pride and most treasured joy. After bragging about his family, the next dearest thing to brag about was his heritage. Born and raised in Sicily; he came to America at 19 years of age and anyone who met him often heard his stories of growing up in the town of Ferla in Sicily. However, becoming an American Citizen was of utmost importance and his commitment to his new home was evidenced as he served his new country in the United States Army. One word to best describe “Paolino” is devotion. He devoted his entire life to his heritage, his home and most importantly, his family. Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING TUESDAY 8:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at THE MONTI-RAGO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2531-35 S. BROAD STREET. Funeral Mass, 11 A.M., St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 9th and Watkins Sts. Int. Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made in his memory to St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church.
