I am writing this for my sister Dolly, I was just unable to write before this.  On August 6, 2017 the Lord took my sister home to our family and to her son at a great loss to all who knew and loved her here on earth.  She was born in Philadelphia to a loving Catholic Italian family, her parents Joseph & Constance DiAscro.  They loved her so much that they nicknamed her "Dolly" because she was so special and so cute.

She was my role model growing up, I admired her humor, strength, resolve, determinaton, kindness and most importantly her goodness.  Her first marriage would have devastated anyone due to her loving husband dying of cancer but she pushed on with her sweet son, Louis and her loyal family on both sides.  This was a very difficult time for Dolly and her son Louis.  Then our good Lord granted her another wonderful husband, Mario, and another great family which included two more sons:  Mario and Michael.  She was blessed and she knew it for 45 wonderful years.

Finally through all her sickness in the past year she pushed on but last October 2016 she lost her beloved son, Lou, which I know tore her apart.  Between the illness and the loss her battle ended.

Dolly will be remembered by everyone who really knew her and the love that she gave us.  The world was left a much better place because of her.  Of course for some of us there's an almost unbearable void and loss of just not hearing her voice or seeing her smiling face, we still can't stop crying.  Every day will never be the same without her. 

We love you Dolly and always will, we will miss you until we all come together again at home with our Lord and our family in heaven!!
