MICHAEL “CHUBBY”; February 18, 2017. Beloved husband of Connie “Chucky” (nee DeVito). Devoted father of Robert (Maria) Simon and the late Michael Simon. Grandfather of Stephanie, Michael (Erica), Simone, Robert Jr., Nicholas (Taylor) and Andrew. Great-grandfather of Frankie, Nicholas Jr., Jason and Giovanni. Brother of the late Helen Snyderman, Mary DiGiocomo and Joseph Simon. Brother-in-law of Emily Stone, Louis Snyderman, Albert DiGiacomo and the late Angie DeVito, Sam DeVito and Angela DeVito. Son-in-law of Jessie DeVito. Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Michael was a long time devoted member of the United Independent Union. Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING THURSDAY EVENING 6-9 P.M. and FRIDAY Morning 8:30 A.M. at The Church of St. Maron, 10th and Ellsworth Sts., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Int. will be private. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made in his memory to St. Maron’s Church.
