Tony's son Anthony and my son Ryan were involved in a bucket-lister baseball tournament a little over three years ago with his Northeast Stars' program . Tony was one of the coaches for our son's team. During the play-offs following his walk past our opponent's(Southern Tier Thunder) dugout, he gathered the team together, relating to them that their opponents were trash-talking em. Tony, then went on for about five minutes motivating the team in a language that apparently every team member understood, at 12 for some reason. Needless to say, the NE Stars smoked them in the first three innings going on to challenge the best 12U team in the country holding and their own
The best part of the story is after the game I asked Tony about the trash talk and its validity
HIs answer with a sly wink and that little slight turn, "What's the difference?" YDM Tony
