I felt so honored to be your cousin. You were so kind, so understanding, so compassionate. I knew you were special at a young age. When you were twelve, you came to Washington, Pa for your summer vacation, and all you wanted was your Uncle Richard to drive you to every Catholic Church so you could pray. You were happiest in Church, worshiping, praying, as long as you lived.

I know you are with God and your suffering is ended. Knowing that softens my grief.

Give my Love to all my family in Heaven, and know that you, and all my loved ones in Heaven, live in my heart, in sweet memory, till we meet again.

Condolence: Dear Gerri, Dani and Chris. We are so glad that we got to meet Al on our last visit to Philly. We are so sorry for your loss,our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: Al George was as fine a man as I knew. When my mother-in-law May Gaspari was in need of Extreme Unction on Holy Thursday of this year, Al came to her house, although ill himself, and made a special call to Father McKay, and May received the Sacrament that afternoon. Al was a good man and a model Catholic. Deb and I shall always remember him also for his help, as a Deacon, in our preparation for marriage back in 2001. Requiescat in Pace.
