SIGILFREDO “FRED”; May 30, 2020. Beloved husband of 74 years to Maria (nee Miriello). Devoted father of Lena (the late Marziale) Varano and Bruno (Donna) Varano. Grandfather of Josephine (Salvatore) Mancini, Anne (Vincent) Pastino, Fredrick (Samantha) Varano and the late Maria Berchick (survived by her husband Michael Berchick). Pop-pop of Michael Jr., Mary Grace, Joseph, Dominic, Giovanni, and Daniel. Brother of Francesca Feudale. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Fred was owner and operator of Varano Grocery Store in South Philadelphia for over 50 years. Viewing, mass, and entombment will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made in his memory to St. Richard’s Church, 3010 S. 18th St., Phila., PA 19145.
