Ruth Marilyn Giordano, a cherished soul, peacefully departed this life on January 5, 2024, at the remarkable age of 100. She was the beloved wife of the late August "Eggy" Giordano and the devoted mother of the late James (Patricia) Giordano. Ruth's love and warmth extended through generations, as she was the loving grandmother of Rachel (Thomas) Francano and the proud great-grandmother of Grace.
Ruth is survived by her sister, Patricia Mingee, sister-in-law, Esther DiDomenico, and numerous other loving family members. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers, 4 sisters, 2 brothers-in-law, and 4 sisters-in-law.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Monti-Rago Funeral Home, located at 2531-35 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148. A memorial service will follow to honoring Ruth's life will commence at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery.
