Dear Raymond & Ramona:
Aunt Theresa and I want you to know that your loss, is our loss; your sorrow, is our sorrow. And through all the years of kowing your Mom – having met her for the first time when she was only 17 – I’ve experienced her as a beautiful girl who developed into an even more beautiful woman. Her inner beauty is not as easy to describe. I don’t think she had a malicious bone in her body. At no time did I ever see her behave in a way that was harmful to someone else. And if she had any faults, being “too good” was probably one of them.
She always called us “Aunt Theresa & Uncle Ben.” Naturally, I called her “Aunt Ronnie,” right up until her final days. She was a partner from heaven for your Dad, my brother Beezie. And in her own, unassuming and simple way, your Mother was a complex mixture of deep commitment to her children, a constant willingness to serve her siblings and her nephews and nieces; and boy did they all love her so.
And one of the clearest indications of your Mother’s depth was her remarkable ability to prepare a gourmet meal that would make professsional chefs strut with pride.
There isn’t enough space on this page to say all the loving things I have thought and felt for your Mom. Aunt Theresa has also loved your Mother without reservation for the past 60 years, and we both grieve over her loss.
Let us pray that one day we may all be reunited in God’s Kingdom. What a blast that will be.
We Love You Very Much,
Uncle Ben & Aunt Theresa
