Pyung Ik Na is predeceased by his devoted wife Sung Hee Na(11/6/1997). Their ashes will be jointly interred at the Valley of the Temples where they will lovingly spend eternity together in Kaneohe, Hawaii.

Pyung Ik Na was born in Korea to Young Pil Na and Young Hee Kim Na. He was one of five children, including three predeceased brothers and one sister. He studied chemical engineering before acquiring a position at the United States Embassy in Seoul, Korea. He was married to the love of his life, Sung Hee Na, and shared two dedicated sons Doo Hwan Na(Rose Min Na) and Do Hwan Na(Gina Ermilio-Na).

At the age of 42, Pyung took a giant leap of faith and moved with his courageous wife and two young sons to the United States. He became a business owner of a hardware company for over 20 years in Philadelphia where he learned a new trade and was a welcomed fixture in the community. When he was not working, he enjoyed hiking in the Poconos, taking car rides with his wife and sons, painting, gardening, photography, visiting with his friends, attending Church services, and indulging in his favorite meals including Korean soups and spaghetti and meatballs.
After retiring from the hardware industry, he embarked on travels throughout the world and visited Turkey, China, Hawai'i, Korea, and even cruised to Alaska. Despite his advanced age, he felt compelled to participate in Habitat for Humanity where he assisted in building houses in Mississippi after witnessing the destruction of Hurricane Katrina on television. His unwavering work ethic brought him out of retirement and into yet another career at Walmart in New Jersey, where he diligently ran the Hardware Unit and even dabbled in the bakery department for over a decade. He worked up until his stroke in June 2021.

Pyung was a steadfast, committed father, uncle, and grandfather. He adored his five grandchildren(Sky Na, Amanda Na, Ethan Na(dec. 2018), Isabella Na, and Vincent Na) and especially loved sharing Korean traditions and meals with them, including Sollal New Years Celebrations.
His devotion to his family, his courage embarking on new adventures, his resilience in life's struggles, his kind heart, his strength and perseverance along with his many talents will be remembered fondly by all that were fortunate enough to make his acquaintance, whether for a brief moment or a multitude of years. His undying love for his wife transcended the years and while we know he will be joined with her in Heaven, we will miss him tremendously here on Earth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Doo Hwan Na.
