MICHAEL C; age 73, of South Philadelphia, passed away in Orlando, Florida on Monday, February 21, 2022. Beloved husband of 50 years to Phyllis (nee Santarelli). Devoted father of Jude (Jeanine). Loving grandfather of Leia, his princess. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Iannelli. Brother of Peter (Annell), Joseph (Pat) and the late Maryann Manilo. Brother-in-law Corinne Gaspari and the late Linda (nee Ricci) and Pat (nee Kuenzi). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael was born and raised in South Philadelphia, and proudly worked for The Philadelphia Naval Shipyard until retirement. He was an award winning Captain for Murray Comic Club and was inducted to The Mummers Hall of Fame. Michael was in DisneyWorld "the happiest place on earth" with his beloved family, when he passed. Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING FRIDAY EVENING 7-9 P.M. and SATURDAY MORNING, 8 A.M. until 9:15 A.M. at THE MONTI-RAGO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2531-35 SOUTH BROAD STREET. Funeral Mass 10 A.M., Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 10th and Dickinson Sts. Interment will be private.
