MARY C. Welsh (nee Mackey). January 4, 2024. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Welsh. Devoted wife of Thaddeus "Ted" Marakowski. Proud and loving mother of John "Jack" Welsh (Carol), Michael Welsh (Kristine), the late Edward Welsh, Thomas Welsh, and Laura Przystawski (Brian). Dear grandmother to Michael John Welsh and Jacqueline Birdsall (Daniel). Sister of William Mackey (and the late Barbara) and Harry Mackey (Peggy). Daughter to the late Harry and Angela "Angie" Mackey (nee Spinelli). Mary was also loved by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her VIEWING WEDNESDAY JANUARY 10, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Monti-Rago Funeral Home at 2531-35 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA, 19148, and Thursday, January 11, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, at The Monti-Rago Funeral Home, followed by Mary's Funeral Mass at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Sts., Philadelphia, PA 19145 and interment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Lung Association.
