MARIE (nee DiStasio), April 17, 2020 at the age of 94, Wife of the late Albert F. LiVecchi, loving mother of Carol (Joe) Ciociola, Albert F. LiVecchi II (deceased), Doreen LiVecchi, and Maria (Michael) Rinaldi. Devoted Mom-mom of 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Marie LiVecchi was born and raised in the heart of the Italian Market. Throughout her life, she instilled traditional Italian-American values in raising her family. She effortlessly raised four children while maintaining a successful and memorable variety store in South Philadelphia. She was a strong, determined, and fiercely independent woman. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them.
Marie will be remembered for uplifting others with her humor and charm. She left an impression on every person she met. She was passionate about cooking and loved all things chocolate. She especially enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and knew how to enjoy life to the fullest.
Marie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
