She enjoyed baking, watching her favorite channel, ABC6 and talking on the phone to her family and friends. She was born in South Philadelphia to Paul and Maddalena Masci. Betty was a caring and devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to raising her two children as a single working parent. Betty lived for her family and loved nothing more than helping to plan the next family party and enjoy making happy Masci memories.

Betty is survived by her daughter Diane (Paul) Reott, and son Gary DiJosie, her 5 grandchildren, Alexandra Reott, Jason DiJosie, Dane DiJosie, Matthew Reott and Samantha DiJosie. She is also survived by her two sisters Anna Tenaglia and Lee Talotta and many loving nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her sisters Annadomenica Badessa, Rita Masci and her brother Joseph Masci.

Due to current restrictions, her burial will be private.

Betty was a devout catholic and a former member of the St. Edmonds prayer group. Donations in Betty’s memory may be made to Reading Allowed, www.readingallowed.org , a small non-profit whose mission is to provide dedicated structure literacy tutoring to struggling readers and writers by making it financially accessible regardless of means.
