Obituary for Kevin M. Stone

On April 11, 2022 Kevin Michael Stone passed away suddenly at the age of 48.

Kevin was born on September 16, 1973 to Barbra Volpone and Robert Stone.
Kevin was blessed with an extended, loving family. He is survived by his wife, Rachael, whom he's spent 28 loving and thoughtful years with. He has also survived by his two children, Richard and Kaitlyn, who feel blessed to have had the opportunity to call him dad. Kevin, additionally leaves behind a number of brothers and sisters, many of whom are “chosen family” that he adopted as such through years of friendship. Finally, Kevin leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and more friends than one could begin to count. There is no doubt that he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Kevin pursued a number of entrepreneurial ventures, and was highly regarded for his business abilities and financial know-how. There wasn’t a moment where Kevin wasn’t dreaming up his next business. For many, it was known that there were few problems Kevin would not be able to solve. Even more importantly, he could almost always do it with a smile.

Words do not begin to describe the man that Kevin was. He was known to offer the shirt off of his back to a stranger in need, and carried himself with an immense amount of compassion. He was the hardest worker to those who knew him, and had the ability to light up a room. He was the type of man people gravitate to; for his kindness, for his compassion, and for his ability to create comfort. Kevin was one of a kind, and made friends everywhere he went.

He is reunited now with his Mother Barbra, Great Grandmother Rita, and Uncle Richie; all whom Kevin loved and missed deeply.

Kevin is not the type of person who loved ones will fear to forget, because a man like him is truly unforgettable. His family lovingly carries on his legacy with the saying “W.W.K.D” or, “What Would Kevin Do”.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday Evening April 19th, 7pm-9pm and Wednesday morning April 20th, 8:30am-9:30am at The Monti-Rago Funeral Home 2531-35 S.
