Beloved Brother, Father and Grandfather.
Age 72. Of Philadelphia, PA was called home peacefully on Sunday 2/11/2024. Joseph was born on 07/30/1951 to Catherine and James Kilrain in Philadelphia. Joseph graduated from Newman High School and shortly after was enlisted in the Army, where he was discharged with honorable services. He then reenlisted in the Reserves for a few years after. He was a Solider in the Vietnam War and once he came back to the states, he remained a librarian until his service was completed. He then obtained a job with Arco Chemical Company as a dangerous good shipper and retired from Lyondell.
Joseph was predeceased by Catherine, James, Michael, Helen, Mary, Cassie and his sons David and Robert. He is survived by his sister Regina, brothers Bernard and John, his three children, Joseph, Amy and Kevin, and his grandkids, Lacey, Nicasia, Robert, Quinn, Hazel, Rylan and Kevin Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to his VISITATION Tuesday February 20, 2024 from 930am to 1030am at St. Gabriel’s Church 2917 Dickinson St., Philadelphia, PA 19146. His memorial mass will follow at 1030am. Int private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home of Vineland, 524 NW Blvd, Vineland, NJ 08360.
