Harry J Sr. in his 100th year died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Harry is predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Cass. He is survived by his children Harry Jr (Mary), Jim (Sue), John, Judy Kent, Robert, Catherine Verdi, Mary Gendrachi (Rich), and Terri. He had 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He’s also survived by his nieces, nephews, and wonderful neighbors on 15th Street. Harry was a WWII Army veteran serving in Europe from 1943-45. He loved golf and music. Harry coached DVYAA baseball for many years and won city championships with these young men. He was a devout Catholic. He loved animals and they loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to his VISITATION Saturday November 19, 2022 12:30PM at Saint Richards Church 18th and Pollock Streets followed by his funeral mass at 1:30PM. Int. will be held privately.Harry gave to many charities over the years. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Philabundance, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Deborah Hospital Foundation.
