Geraldine Baldino (affectionately known to many as “Gerry”), age 76, passed away peacefully August 6, 2022. She was born on August 13, 1946, in South Philadelphia to Anthony Baldino and Rose Landi. Gerry had many wonderful memories of growing up in South Philadelphia with her brother, Ronald.
She attended St. Monica’s Business School and graduated with honors. Gerry worked for many years at the Family Court in Philadelphia.
Eventually retiring, she settled in an apartment in South Philadelphia. She enjoyed, shopping, watching old movies and meeting friends. Gerry also loved to remanence about the old days, from Atlantic City to Latin Casino. She would fondly talk about her family and old friends. Gerry also loved to travel to places such as Las Vegas and Mexico.
All who loved her will never forget her tenacity, wit, grace, and undying love and caring for them.
Gerry was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Baldino, mother, Rose Land, brother, Ronald Baldino and sister-in-law, Shirley Baldino.
Gerry leaves to cherish her memory: stepmother, Shirley Baldino; nephews, Ronald Jr, Michael, and their mother Donna Baldino; niece, Janine, nephew Matthew. Also, her dear friends, Joann Branco, Alex Velasquez and Ana Pesce.
Gerry, it’s difficult to express in words, just what we would like to say, please know you’re thought of often, in every special way. There will always be a special place for you within our hearts.
