Obituary for Edward Christinzio
Edward Christinzio, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and beloved brother, passed away on September 18, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him.
Edward was the loving husband of Arlene (nee Puntonio) and the proud father of Mariealaina Onorato, Eddie (Erin) Christinzio, and David (Assunta) Christinzio. He was a dedicated Pop-pop to his grandchildren Sylvia, Dana, Jake, and Rocco, who held a special place in his heart.
As a brother, Edward shared a close bond with Joanne (Bob) Conte and Joseph (the late Janet) Christinzio, and their family ties were a source of strength and support throughout his life.
Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Monica, located at 17th and Ritner Street in Philadelphia. A funeral mass to celebrate Edward's life will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Saint Monica's Church in Edward's memory. These contributions will help continue the church's mission and honor Edward's commitment to his faith and community.
