I live on 13th street across from Jennie DiDonato. I met Dominic for the first and only time a couple summers ago when he was pulling weeds for her. As I am also a LaSalle grad, and spent much of my time in college visiting my own grandmother who also loved on 13th street, I saw myself in Domenic. His sweet and kind being was so evident in that one meeting and I always loved seeing him pull up on the block, because I know how sweet those moments must have been between he and his grandmother. Domenic impacted me just by observing the tender care that he had for her, to visit , get the mail, or pull weeds. Even a stranger could see he was a special young man.

He was an incredible guy. He was always there for you when you needed him. He was there for me when I was at my lowest. He was a great listener. He Always put other people first even if he was down in the dumps himself. He cared about everyone. He was an amazing soul. Dom you were always there for me. I’m glad we spent a month together while you were starting out in what promised to be a beautiful life. I can’t believe You’re gone. I can’t believe I just found out you passed away today. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you. Last time we spoke we were planning to FaceTime each other and catch up. You always laughed at me because you thought I was so funny all the time. I’m going to miss that Laugh so much. You were only 23. Your birthday just passed and I text you happy birthday and I was wondering why you didn’t respond to my texts since March 10th I just thought you might’ve been busy. My heart is grieving so much finding out about your loss. I have so many Memories of you but I wish we could’ve kept making more. I love you so much Dom 💗 Rest In Paradise my friend 4-18-95 to 3-19-19. To the DiDonato family I’m very sorry for your loss and you’re in my thoughts and prayers.

To Domenic’s Family and Friends:

I first met Dom when he was a summer intern at PMC Property Group. Dom was a pleasure to work with. Always enthusiastic and willing to take on anything asked of him. Dom became a friend of my niece, Sydney, who also was an intern.

I watched Dom start a new career and heard from several people how happy he was with his new position and his new home. I am truly saddened by his sudden passing. Dom was a fine young man and i grieve with all of you.

My deepest Sympathies.

Dear Joanne and family It is so hard to deal with death and especially a young death because we don't understand it.This beautiful soul was taken way too early, before his light could fully shine in his entirety.I trust he left many memories for you all to fall back on when the going gets way too tough and you feel you can't go on.They will be bittersweet as they will bring tears as well as smiles.I believe Domenic will only want the smiles, so surround yourself with good family and friends who will help you get through this. You will never get over it but by the grace of God you will be able to get through it.I pray for this for you all until the time when you will be reunited.I hope this will help you but during my own grieving with my sons someone told me imagine Heaven as a big mansion with many rooms and doors and some day you will open the door that contains Domenic and what a reunion that will be.We are all destined to walk through those doors, so you see it's only for a little while.I am so happy that me and my grandsons Anthony and Tommy and my granddaughter Grace had the pleasure of meeting your handsome son.God has a beautiful rare new flower for His Garden. With much love and prayer.
