Loving memories never die, as years roll on and days pass by. In our hearts a memory is kept, of ones we loved and will never forget.

If every tear we shed for you became a star above, you would stroll in the Angel's garden lit by everlasting love.

I remember when she was hired and from the beginning she was eager to do and learn whatever was required to be the best in her new job. Forever, she was the face and voice for the Department of Public Property until she retired. Some might say she was the brains of the operation and I would for one could not agree more. We became fast friends and she was an important part of my success. She was very good to my family, in particular, my mother Mary who Dolores always referred to as Mrs. Leonard. It was many years into our relationship before she told me her mother was also named Mary. She was devoted to her mother and depended on her for spiritual guidance. Dolores had medals from her mother and a rosary that my mother had given her blessed by the Pope. She treasured them both and kept them with her during her battle against her cancer. Only when not permitted to take them with her during a procedure would she allow Lisa to hold them. She affectionally, referred to her Mary's as, "Big Guns", which were called upon for warm arms and deep prayers.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Joan Schlotterbeck
