Carmine Umberto Pisani
Loving husband, devoted father, adored Pop-pop, and the most selfless man passed away peacefully at his home on March 15th, surrounded by his family.
Carmine was born in Montauro, Italy, but he said his life began on June 4, 1962, when he arrived in America. Carmine married Teresa, the love of his life, on April 23, 1961, and together raised their three daughters in Philadelphia. Carmine was a husband, father, friend, and cabinetmaker but his life’s joy was being a grandfather. He loved Sunday dinners with his family and spending summers in Wildwood Crest, taking his grandchildren to the beach and walks along the bay.
Carmine will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and his deep respect for others. His grandchildren will remember him as the best man they’ve ever known. No words can ever express the love he had for his family. We will hold onto the beautiful memories made together and will carry his heart in our hearts forever.
Carmine will be dearly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Teresa, adoring daughters Theresa Pisani-Sculli, Anna Deacon (John), Rosemarie Mancarella (Sebastiano), and his grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren (Ryan Agnew), and Rachel Sculli, Jake, Matthew, and Emily Deacon, Alexia, Nicole, and Olivia Mancarella, family, friends, neighbors and all those who loved him.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Daniel Frisch, Dr. Christine Marschilok, and his entire care team at Jefferson Health, Penn Medicine, and Bayada Hospice for their thoughtful concern and excellent medical care.
To honor his memory, donations can be made to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation Cardiac Center P.O. Box 781352 Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.
Private services will be held.
