It is with great sorrow that I am feeling for my friend, Sonny and Donny. I have known Sonny for almost 40 years, Donny for most of his Life and throughout that time he has bestowed much wisdom about cars and Life. I have had many cars and Sonny and Donny would be the “only” people I would trust to work on them. What technician that you would take your car to would try to save you money, tell you when a car is not worth it, try to discourage you from spending money on it, and tell you he’s not going to do something because it didn’t sense. We would sit in the shop and talk for hours sometimes and I would stop by when I didn’t need his services. I would tell anybody and everybody that needed something done to their vehicle, “ Go see Sonny and tell him I sent you.” Sonny and Donny would always take care of them as though it was me. Sonny Loved to talk, he always had a story to tell about the good ole days! He would want you to sit there all day if you could and he would still be working. When he was ordering food he would ask you did you want anything and feed you when he was eating. Sonny would give you anything he had, he was as generous a person as I knew. Donny has really been a Blessing to Sonny, they would disagree but they Loved each other, they argued like a married couple sometimes but he cared for Donny more than you could imagine. Sonny cared about people and he didn’t care if you had money or not, he wanted to help you. Sonny was a Blessing to many people. “The World Was A Better Place Because Sonny Was In It!” I Love Sonny!!! I don’t know what I am going to do when I think about him and want to stop by and chat or I ride pass the shop and cannot resist stopping by and holler, “Big Sonny!!!”
Donny and the family, we are here for all of you and we are praying for you to have peace and comfort through your struggle.

I've been a customer of Sonny and Donny's for years and it has been a real joy. I always appreciated Sonny's attentiveness to detail, the quality of the repair, and his honesty in pricing. Even when a simple drop-off, which should have taken five minutes, would turn into a half hour discussing the Phillies' latest woes or Ryan Howard's swing , I always left with a smile on my face. I will miss Sonny greatly, and will keep his memory alive in my thoughts. As long as the Phillies fail to score a runner from third with only one out, I'll hear his voice!

Sonny, our whole family misses you. It’s good that mom doesn’t understand any more. You made her life and ours brighter. Deepest condolences to your family.
