ANGELO J. “DEWEY”; May 22, 2018, age 88 of South Philadelphia. Beloved husband of the late Mary D. (nee DiDomenico). Devoted father of Dina (Pio) Abate. Pop of Marina T. Abate. Companion of Mary Ellen Ponzio. Also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his VIEWING TUESDAY EVENING 7-9 P.M. and WEDNESDAY 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at THE MONTI-RAGO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2531-35 S. BROAD STREET. Funeral Mass, 10 A.M., St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Sts. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
