I hope you remember me from Overbrook. I certainly remember you. First my condolences for the loss of your wife. From the pictures, she was beautiful in her youth and her age. But I am writing to tell you how I valued your work and friendship at Overbrook. You were always professional and helpful even in the most stressful times (like putting on a play or musical! I recall all the dollar bills pouring out of your coat pocket the night "Purlie" opened!). I have often thought of you over the years. You were a good man, Carmen, in difficult times. I hope retirement has been good to you. If I live as long with my wife (50 years now) as you have with Rachel, I will count myself blessed. I am grateful to have known you.
