Angel

Chris and I met as teenagers in High School. I lost my mother as freshman; with my Dad also gone I was orphaned. He and I both were vocal majors and we became high school sweethearts. Chris' energy was contagious he always managed to keep me smiling. We danced and sang together in a group called Élan. During my darkest time he kept me going, he would come every morning to my apartment and pull me out of bed and get me to school, he even forced me to do my homework. Without him and his family I would have not made it through High School. They were my family; their faces were the faces I saw when I graduated. They fed me and gave me advice. He will forever be an angel and his memory will always keep me strong. I never got to tell you Chris how much you impacted me and I hope those who read this can see what an amazing person you truly were.
